Lots of pictures - part 4 - family Seder
This is it for the pictures. I know I said it would be yesterday, but when I wrote that I had forgotten about our family's Seder dinner we had a week ago. A friend who joined us took these pictures and sent them to me because I had forgotten to get any.
It went well and everyone did a great job of sitting through the long meal. The youngest children were particularly taken with having small crystal goblets filled with sparkling cider to drink.

For those who might be interested, we use a booklet called Christ in the Passover published by Rose Publishing as our Haggadah. It is a shortened version, but is just the right length for the ages we have around the table right now.

Don't forget to pray for Brandi. I didn't get a chance to post about her last week because of the chaos, but she's still waiting for a family.
She is 6 years old. She lies in her crib and waits and waits and waits for someone to scoop her up and tell her how loved she is. Just imagine a grin on her face, her hair allowed to grow out. Imagine how transformed she will look when she is loved. Pray that she doesn't have to wait too much longer for her parents to find her. While her file has been sent back to her country, it can be obtained. I can put you in contact with people who can help you do this if you are interested.

Everyone at the table
This is our version of the Seder plate. That big rooty looking thing is a horseradish root.
Instead of trying to pass and share everything (too hard with so many little arms), each person had their own plate with the different parts... parsley, matzo, salt water, and charoset.
